Pur Moulding System (PMS) 

PMS-4 is used for inset light fixing and cable chase in both ashpalt and concrete. PMS is a two-component polyurethane system of solid type. All in the PMS involved products are known to be high in thermostability connected with a great impact resistance. 

Fields of application

The unique properties of PMS-4 open new markets, where it so far has been impossible to use polyurethane material. PMS-4 is successfully used to fix bases in taxiways and runways at airfields. PMS-4 provides a quick hardening system, this means that the runway after only a few minutes of curing be trafficed again. See the datasheet concerning moulding of bases.

PMS-4 has a very high thermostability (> 100°C) which is an important factor to keep the bases in fixed position when the temperature is high in the runway, taxiway or aprons. The unique moulding method, which is developed together with PMS-4, keeps the bases in a fixed position in all climates, without sinking, twisting or other changes of the bases position.

Handling of PMS-4

The containers shall be closed efter every use and shall
be stored in an even room temperature.

Storage

In well-closed containers
In even room temperature
In low temperatures, the B-component may crystallize.

Applying

The drilled wall of the holes as well as the bottom
of the holes shall be absolute clean and dry.
Applying must be done within 60 seconds after mixing!!

Mixing

The measuring of the PMS-4 is done in volume dimensions (litre)
1. First measure the A-component (the black material)
2. Mix the absorption material (the white material)
3. Measure the B-component (yellow/brown material) and mix

Mixing Table

Inhumid weather the absobtion agent can be raised from about 5% 
up to about 10% of the mixture. The amount of the abs. agent is not critical.
